Clinical Lead (RGN)

Sunbury on Thames, London

£55,000 per annum +

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a strong and hands-on Clinical Lead to join a well-established elderly care provider within a high-quality nursing home environment.

This role would suit an experienced Senior Nurse, Unit Manager or existing Clinical Lead looking to take the next step within a supportive and progressive organisation.

Working closely with the Home Manager, you will play a key role in leading the clinical team, maintaining high standards of care, supporting governance and compliance, and ensuring residents receive safe, person-centred and compassionate care at all times.

This is a highly visible and operational role, requiring a confident clinician who is happy to lead from the front, support the nursing team on the floor and drive clinical excellence across the home

Key Responsibilities:

Provide strong clinical leadership and day-to-day support to the nursing and care teams
Ensure high standards of clinical care, medication management and documentation
Support with audits, governance and compliance processes
Mentor, coach and develop nurses and care staff
Work closely with the Home Manager to drive quality improvement and best practice
Build positive relationships with residents, families and external professionals
Support with safeguarding, care planning and clinical risk management
Assist with staff supervisions, competency assessments and training

Requirements:

Registered Nurse qualification with active NMC PIN
Strong clinical knowledge within elderly care/nursing home settings
Previous experience as a Senior Nurse, Unit Manager or Clinical Lead
Passion for delivering high-quality, resident-focused care
Strong communication and leadership skills
Hands-on and approachable management style
