This role as a Personal Assistant in the Not for Profit sector is based in Stockport and focuses on providing essential support to senior staff, ensuring the smooth running of their day-to-day schedules. You'll be responsible for managing diaries, coordinating meetings, and handling a variety of administrative tasks that help keep the organisation running effectively.

Description

Provided comprehensive executive support to three senior leaders, each with distinct priorities, working styles, and operational requirements.
Supported senior leadership engagement with a wide range of external stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and strategic partners to advance organisational objectives.
Managed meeting agendas, prepared documentation, and produced accurate minutes, ensuring confidentiality and maximising the effectiveness of discussions and decision-making.
Coordinated complex calendars and correspondence, exercising sound judgement to prioritise commitments and optimise leaders' time and productivity.
Managed a diverse workload with competing priorities, making informed decisions independently to ensure deadlines and business objectives were consistently achieved.
Supported the planning and delivery of events, maintaining high levels of professionalism, organisation, and technical proficiency.
Collaborated with corporate support colleagues to assist in the management of office operations, including health and safety, facilities, security, business support systems, budgeting, and procurement activities.

Profile

Extensive experience providing executive and administrative support to senior leaders, including complex diary and schedule management.
Strong digital and IT proficiency, with experience using a range of business systems and productivity platforms to support organisational operations.
Excellent written communication skills, including preparing reports, presentations, and accurate meeting minutes for senior leadership teams.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across a diverse range of stakeholders while demonstrating empathy, professionalism, and emotional intelligence.
Highly organised and efficient, with the ability to remain calm, adaptable, and responsive in fast-paced environments with changing priorities.
Proven ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain high levels of confidentiality.
Strategic and creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify practical solutions to complex challenges.
Experienced in managing varied workloads and competing priorities while consistently meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality outcomes.
Knowledge and experience of workplace operations, facilities coordination, and office management practices.
Experience supporting procurement activities and sourcing goods and services with a focus on value, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Committed to continuous professional development and ongoing learning to enhance knowledge, skills, and performance.
Confident in providing constructive feedback, appropriately challenging decisions when necessary, and contributing positively to continuous improvement.

Job Offer

Salary up to £32,705 per annum, dependent on the level of experience.
12-month Fixed Term Contract position.
Opportunity to work within the Not for Profit sector in Stockport.
