Description

Manage and coordinate the daily operations of the transport team.
Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed on time and to a high standard.
Monitor vehicle maintenance and compliance with regulations.
Work closely with the logistics team to optimise routes and reduce costs.
Maintain accurate records of transport activities and performance metrics.
Address and resolve any operational issues that may arise.
Provide training and support to drivers and other transport staff.
Ensure health and safety standards are adhered to at all times.

Profile

A successful Transport Manager should have:

Experience within the transport and distribution industry.
CPC
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of transport regulations and compliance requirements.
Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
Proficiency in using logistics and transport management systems.
