Administrative Assistant

Administrative Assistant - Permanent

£25,000 - £27,000 per annum, 38 hours per week

Location - Gloucester GL2

Monday to Thursday 8am - 4:45pm / Friday 8am - 4pm

A fantastic opportunity has presented itself, our client is looking for an organised and proactive Administrative Assistant to join their busy and friendly team. This is a diverse role offering the opportunity to support multiple business functions, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office while assisting with projects, compliance activities, and operational administration.

Key Responsibilities

Providing general administrative support, including answering incoming telephone calls, processing daily post, and assisting with a variety of office-based tasks.
Coordinating health and safety site visits by liaising with Contracts Engineers, Managers, and Health & Safety Advisers, ensuring records are maintained and reporting requirements are met.
Managing subcontractor compliance records, monitoring training qualifications and insurance documentation, and supporting the onboarding process for new subcontractors.
Overseeing equipment calibration schedules, arranging servicing and certification to ensure all equipment remains compliant and up to date.
Maintaining stock levels of PPE, stationery, refreshments, and office supplies, carrying out regular stock checks and arranging orders as required.
Updating equipment records, monitoring safety inspection paperwork, and helping to ensure equipment storage areas remain organised, tidy, and compliant with company procedures.

About You

Our client, are looking for an organised and proactive individual with previous administration experience and strong attention to detail and capable of managing multiple tasks at the same time, strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications especially Excel, and a positive, can-do attitude which will be key to success in this role as Administration Assistant
