Long Term Futures is recruiting an organised and personable School Admin Assistant to join a busy primary school office in Haringey from September.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator who enjoys working in a people-focused environment. You'll be part of the team at the heart of the school, supporting staff, pupils and families while ensuring the day-to-day administration runs smoothly.
Previous school office experience is essential, particularly for candidates familiar with school management systems and the importance of safeguarding, confidentiality and accurate record keeping.

Your Role
As School Admin Assistant, you will:

Manage telephone, email and face-to-face enquiries from parents and visitors
Maintain accurate pupil records and update school databases
Support attendance administration, registers and pupil information
Prepare letters, documents, spreadsheets and general correspondence
Use Microsoft Word, Excel and school management systems confidently
Assist with admissions, school trips and general office administration
Handle sensitive information professionally and confidentially
Support senior leaders and teaching staff with administrative tasks
Help maintain a professional and welcoming school office

What We're Looking For

Previous administrative experience; school-based experience is strongly preferred
Excellent IT skills, including Word, Excel and email
Experience with Arbor, SIMS or another school MIS is advantageous
Strong written and verbal communication
Excellent organisation and attention to detail
Confident dealing with parents, pupils and professionals
Good understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding in education
