HR Coordinator (Part time)

Location: Huddersfield, West Yorkshire
Salary: Up to £26,000 per year
Hours: 22.5 hours per week
Working Pattern: Flexible working days and hours

The Role:

We are looking for an experienced and proactive HR Coordinator to take ownership of our day-to-day HR administration and payroll processes. This is a standalone HR role, offering the autonomy to manage your own workload while working alongside a supportive management team and colleagues across the business.

The successful candidate will be confident working independently, highly organised, and passionate about delivering an efficient and professional HR service.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the monthly payroll process, including complex payroll requirements for drivers.
Maintain accurate employee records and update HR systems.
Process HR documentation, including contracts, offer letters, amendments, and leaver documentation.
Ensure employee data is maintained in line with GDPR requirements.
Keep employee and vendor records accurate and up to date.
Support managers and employees with day-to-day HR queries.
Ensure compliance with UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
Assist with onboarding and induction of new employees.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

A minimum of 2 years' experience within a HR Coordinator, HR Administrator or similar HR role.
Previous payroll experience, including managing complex payroll processes.
Experience working independently within a standalone HR function or managing your own workload.
Good knowledge of UK employment law, HR regulations and GDPR.
Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
Experience using HR systems and confidently inputting and maintaining employee data.
Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels.
