Customer Service Advisor

Location: Southend-on-Sea, Essex
Hours: Monday to Friday with a Saturday on a rota basis

About the Role

We are recruiting for a Customer Service Advisor to join a growing and professional organisation based in Southend-on-Sea. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous customer service or contact centre experience who enjoys helping people and delivering a high standard of service.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the first point of contact for customers via telephone and email.
Deliver a professional, friendly and efficient customer experience.
Accurately record and update customer information on internal systems.
Respond to customer enquiries and provide timely updates.
Liaise with internal departments to ensure queries are resolved efficiently.
Work to agreed service standards and performance targets.

About You

Previous experience in a customer service or call centre environment.
Excellent communication and listening skills.
Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.
Confident using computer systems and learning new processes.
A positive, proactive approach with the ability to work as part of a team.
Well organised and able to manage a busy workload.
