Housing Support Worker - Northwest London

The rewards

£18.26 per hour, inclusive of holiday pay
Weekly pay

Hours

35 hours per week
Shift patterns and flexibility will be discussed during your interview
The provision of the contract is between 08:00 and 22:00 Monday-Friday and Saturday 09:00-17:00 on a rolling rotational basis

The role of Housing Support Worker - Northwest London:

Provide support to residents by creating person-centred support plans
Meet with residents, discuss support needs and how you can support them to meet their objectives
Complete Support and Safety Plans
Work with Community Probation Practitioners and Court Staff to best support residents
Help residents with applying for Housing Benefits and paying rent etc.
Ensure properties are meeting expected standards in terms of repair and cleanliness, with a sharp attention to detail to ensure houses are clean, tidy and all repairs are reported and actioned
Manage a number of allocated properties, working as part of a larger team to deliver the service across your region

The ideal Housing Support Worker - Northwest London:

Passionate about social justice and housing
A background in the Social Housing sector as a Housing Officer
Experience within social housing and knowledge of Support Planning and welfare benefits/universal credit will have an advantage in terms of transferable skills
Access to your own vehicle and business insurance

This role covers Northwest London (Harrow, Enfield, Barnet, Hillingdon & Hayes) on a temporary basis.

This is a temporary role for 3 months, with the potential for further extension.

This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door and start your career with Nacro.

Please note that this role is NOT a personal care role.

The role is subject to Enhanced Adult DBS and a HMPPS Barring checks. If you already have this level of DBS on the update service, please let us know upon registration.
