Administration Assistant
Location: Horley, Surrey

The Company
Our client is a well-established and growing specialist subcontractor operating within the commercial construction sector. They deliver high-quality interior fit-out packages on projects across London and the South East and have built an excellent reputation for professionalism, quality and customer service.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an organised and enthusiastic Administration Assistant to join their friendly office team.

The Role:
This is a varied administration position where you'll provide day-to-day support across the business, helping to ensure the office runs efficiently while assisting the commercial and operational teams with a range of administrative duties.

This opportunity would suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has excellent organisational skills and is looking to build a long-term career within the construction industry.

Responsibilities

Providing general administrative support to the office and management team.
Answering incoming telephone calls and responding to emails.
Preparing, formatting and filing company documentation.
Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems.
Assisting with document control and project administration.
Ordering office supplies and ensuring the office is well organised.
Scheduling meetings and supporting diary management where required.
Assisting the commercial, estimating and operations teams with administrative tasks.
Ensuring project documentation is accurate, compliant and up to date.
Supporting the wider team with any additional administrative duties.

Requirements

Previous experience in an Administration Assistant, Office Administrator or similar role.
Construction industry experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
Confident communicator with a professional and friendly manner.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively.
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
