Customer Service & Sales Administrator - Syston

Location: Syston,Leicestershire
Pay Rate: £14.35 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday,standard office hours
Contract: Temporary
Working Pattern: Office Based

SF Recruitment are exclusively partnering with a well-established client based in Syston to recruit a Customer Service & Sales Administrator on a temporary basis.

This is a varied position combining customer service,account administration,sales support and coordination. You will manage relationships with existing customers,ensure agreements and renewals are processed efficiently,identify potential sales opportunities and support the smooth running of customer requirements.

The successful candidate will be highly organised,commercially aware and confident communicating with customers. This would be an excellent opportunity for someone from a customer service,sales administration or account management background who enjoys taking ownership of their workload and building strong customer relationships.

The Role

As Customer Service & Sales Administrator,your responsibilities will include:

* Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers,providing a first-class customer experience.
* Managing customer agreements,renewals,quotations and invoices accurately and within agreed timescales.
* Investigating customers who may be at risk of cancelling and supporting customer retention.
* Identifying inactive customers and proactively making contact to understand their requirements and re-engage them.
* Identifying opportunities within existing customer accounts and following up potential sales leads.
* Preparing and submitting quotations for additional products and services.
* Maintaining accurate customer records,contact information and notes across internal systems.
* Handling inbound customer queries professionally and taking ownership through to resolution.
* Coordinating customer requirements and ensuring deadlines are achieved.
* Keeping customers updated and resolving any issues that could impact service delivery.
* Raising invoices and ensuring relevant information is processed accurately.
* Working closely with internal departments to ensure customers receive a seamless service.
* Highlighting potential business opportunities and passing relevant leads to the sales team.
* Providing additional support to the wider Customer Service team when required.

About You

We are looking for someone who ideally has:

* Previous experience within a Customer Service,Sales Administration,Account Administration or Account Management role.
* A strong understanding of what excellent customer service looks like.
* Experience managing existing customer accounts and building strong relationships.
* A commercial mindset with the confidence to identify and follow up potential opportunities.
* Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills.
* Strong attention to detail and experience maintaining accurate records.
* Confident communication skills,both over the telephone and via email.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and the confidence to make decisions.
* Experience using Microsoft Office and CRM/database systems.
* The ability to work collaboratively with different internal teams.
