Part-Time Administration Assistant

Flexible School Hours | Exeter Marsh Barton area

Approx. £26,000 - £28,000 pro rata (negotiable depending on experience)

Lockhart Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a thriving, family-run manufacturing business based south of the river in Exeter.

Due to continued growth and success, our client is looking to appoint a Part-Time Administration Assistant to support their busy and friendly team. This is a key role within the business and would suit someone looking for flexible working hours that can fit around school commitments and family life.

The company can offer flexibility on working patterns, whether you are looking for:

3 days per week during school hours
4 days per week with shorter working days
5 days per week for a few hours each day

The right candidate will become an integral part of a well-established, down-to-earth team that genuinely values its employees.

The Role

As an Administration Assistant, you will be involved in the day-to-day running of a busy office and provide vital support to both the office team and engineers working on the road.

Responsibilities will include:

Answering incoming telephone calls and dealing with customer enquiries
Managing and updating job cards
Ordering parts and liaising with suppliers
Supporting engineers with administration and job-related information
Communicating with customers and suppliers professionally and efficiently
Data input and processing of invoices
Maintaining accurate records and documentation
General administrative support across the business

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is:

Experienced in an administration role
Friendly, professional and confident on the telephone
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Accurate when processing data and invoices
Reliable, hardworking and proactive
Comfortable managing multiple tasks within a busy environment
Able to work independently whilst also being part of a close-knit team

Experience of using Xero accounting software would be advantageous, although full training can be provided.
