As a Customer Service Advisor in Gateshead, you'll be the first point of contact for customers, helping with their queries and ensuring they have a smooth experience. Your role will involve supporting the retail team by handling calls, processing orders, and resolving issues efficiently.

This role is within the retail sector and is based in Gateshead.

Description

Respond to customer enquiries via phone and email in a professional manner.
Process orders accurately and ensure timely follow-up with customers.
Resolve customer issues and complaints promptly, escalating when necessary.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and services offered.
Collaborate with the wider team to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Log customer interactions and update internal systems as required.
Support the retail team with administrative tasks when needed.
Provide feedback on recurring customer concerns to improve service delivery.

Profile

A successful Customer Service Advisor should have:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in using basic computer systems and software.
An ability to handle customer queries calmly and professionally.
A proactive approach to resolving problems and improving processes.
Can work different shift patterns between the hours of 7:30 - 18:00pm fully office based.
