As an Account Manager, you'll manage a portfolio of ecommerce and retail clients, acting as their trusted advisor while ensuring excellent service delivery and customer satisfaction. You'll identify opportunities to grow existing accounts, conduct business reviews and work closely with internal teams to drive retention, profitability and long-term client success.

Description

Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
Identify and pursue opportunities to expand business within the client base.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing queries and resolving issues promptly.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs are met effectively and efficiently.
Prepare and deliver reports on account performance and client feedback.
Stay updated on industry trends and provide insights to clients where relevant.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all client interactions.
Contribute to the development of strategies to improve client satisfaction and retention.

Profile

A successful Account Manager should have:

Proven experience in account management or a related field within the transport and distribution industry.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
Analytical skills to assess account performance and identify growth opportunities.
Ability to manage multiple clients and priorities effectively.
Confident presenting/hosting meetings and dealing with senior stakeholders.
Commercially minded, with an understanding of retention, growth and margin.
Team-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-growing environment.
