The Company

Join one of Llanelli's leading firm of solicitors who are currently looking for a new member to join the team to assist in administrative work within their Family Law department.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced administrator to join a busy Family Law department of a local Solicitors office. The position is a permanent role and can either be full time (35 hour week) or a 3 day week to suit the successful applicant. You will also have the option to either work in the office, remotely from home or hybrid - the choice is yours. The normal working hours for full time are Monday - Friday 09:00AM - 05:00PM. If you are looking for a 3 day week the days worked are negotiable.The main purpose of the role will be to provide administrative support for the Family Law Department.

Duties will include:

Opening new files
Working with legal aid applications
Scanning incoming mail onto relevant case files within the case management system
Closing of files
Generally assisting the team with administrative support as required

Requirements

The ideal applicant will have some legal experience or qualification to their credit but applications from experienced administrators keen to develop a legal career are also welcomed.

The successful applicant will have the following skills, experience and qualities:

Previous administrative experience
Legal qualification or experience preferred
Solid computer literacy skills, Word, Excel essential and legal packages an advantage
A team player
Able to work independently and take responsibility
Solid attention to detail and ability to prioritise
Able to perform well in a busy environment and meet deadlines
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
