The starting salary for this full-time position is £28,546 per annum based on a 36 hour working week.

This is a fixed term contract or secondment opportunity covering maternity leave. For internal candidates, please discuss with your current Line Manager before submitting your application.

We are excited to be hiring a Team Administrator to join our fantastic Social Care Administration Team based at Dakota Building, 11 De Havilland Drive, Weybridge, KT13 0YP.

This role is open to hybrid working, meaning you will be required to work in the office for a minimum of 2 days a week, on a rota basis, to support with office duties. The remainder of the week can be worked from home.

About The Role

Working within our Social Care Administration Team, you will play an integral role in the day-to-day running of the department and all things admin. In this position you will organise and minute a variety of multi-agency meetings on behalf of the social care teams, distribute minutes to involved parties ensuring timescales are met, answer phone calls to professionals and members of the public and manage shared inboxes.

As a Team Administrator, up to 70% of the role is minuting meetings that are unable to be recorded due to the professionals and agencies we work with. These meetings also have national statutory timeframes and could be used in court proceedings. You will provide an efficient telephone service to our stakeholders and service users, liaise with professionals both within social care and with partner agencies, such as Police, Health, Education and Legal. You will keep track of information, update and maintain spreadsheets and databases and provide performance information to line managers and other departments when requested.

Your Application

Prior administration experience
Ability to work as part of a team within existing protocols and procedures whilst being proactive and using your initiative
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Experience in minuting taking, typing directly onto a laptop
Excellent IT skills and proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications
Ability to take a confident, organised, and proactive approach to your work
Commitment to your own professional/personal development

A Basic DBS 'Disclosure and Barring Service' check for regulated activity (formerly known as CRB) will be required for this role.
