Temporary Part Time Contracts Administrator
£14.40 per hour
Basildon, Essex
Monday to Friday | 25 hours per week (flexible working hours)

Immediate start available. This is a temporary assignment expected to run until approximately Christmas, with the possibility of extension.

My client, a well-established construction company based in Basildon, is looking to recruit an organised and proactive Part Time Contracts Administrator to support the team during a busy period. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who enjoys working in a fast paced environment and takes pride in maintaining accurate records and supporting project delivery.

Working closely with the contracts team, you will provide essential administrative support, ensuring project information is kept up to date, documentation is managed efficiently, and internal processes are followed.

Key Responsibilities

Providing general administrative support to the contracts team.
Preparing project programmes and maintaining Excel spreadsheets.
Managing, organising, and securely storing project documentation.
Setting up new projects on internal reporting systems.
Monitoring shared inboxes and responding to correspondence.
Maintaining accurate records across internal systems.
Ensuring company processes and procedures are followed.
Supporting the wider team with ad hoc administrative tasks as required.

About You

The successful candidate will be highly organised, detail oriented, and confident using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Previous experience within contracts administration, construction, project administration, or a similar administrative role would be advantageous; however, candidates with strong transferable administrative skills will also be considered.
