Administrator – Residential Conveyancing New Business Team – Ellisons is seeking an Administrator to join the Residential Conveyancing New Business Team on a full-time, permanent basis, based in Colchester, Essex.

About the role:

As an Administrator within the Residential Conveyancing New Business Team, you will play a key role in supporting clients from their first point of contact, ensuring enquiries are handled professionally and efficiently. You will assist with opening new matters, arranging appointments, processing documentation and providing administrative support to help ensure the smooth running of the team.

Main duties and responsibilities:

Act as a first point of contact for new and existing Residential Conveyancing clients, handling enquiries by telephone and email.
Open new client files, process deed and document relinquishments, and maintain accurate records and documentation.
Arrange client appointments and provide administrative support to the Residential Conveyancing New Business Team.
Assist with a range of day-to-day administrative tasks, ensuring work is completed accurately and efficiently.
Build strong relationships with clients and colleagues while delivering outstanding customer service.
Maintain high standards of professionalism, confidentiality and attention to detail at all times

About you:

As an Administrator, you will be highly organised, personable and professional, with excellent communication skills and a strong eye for detail. Previous experience within Residential Conveyancing would be advantageous, although applications are also welcomed from candidates with administrative experience gained within other professional services or customer-focused environments.

You will be confident managing a varied workload, prioritising tasks effectively and delivering an exceptional standard of client service. A proactive attitude, excellent organisational skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a busy team are essential.
