We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a growing and well-established business based in Bury St Edmunds. They are seeking an organised and proactive individual to support day-to-day operations, customer communication, scheduling, and administration. This is a varied role offering the opportunity to become a key part of a busy team.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate projects, schedules, and operational activities to ensure smooth service delivery
Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to manage enquiries and project requirements
Arrange deliveries, bookings and logistics as required
Maintain accurate records, databases, and CRM systems
Prepare and manage operational documentation and reports
Support stock control, ordering, and resource planning activities
Manage shared inboxes and provide timely responses to enquiries
Raise quotations and provide after-sales support where required
Assist with compliance, quality, and health & safety administration/processes
Handle manufacturer claims and all related documentation
Provide general administrative support to the wider operations team
Participate in internal / external meetings as requested

Requirements

Previous experience within administration, operations support, coordination, or customer service
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
Proactive and able to work independently using initiative
Comfortable working with systems, databases, and Microsoft Office packages
Strong problem-solving skills and a positive, team-focused attitude
Reliable, adaptable, and eager to contribute to a busy and supportive environment
