Customer Services & Sales Support Representative

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus 10% annual bonus
Location: Uxbridge area (hybrid)
Hours: Monday to Friday

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a successful and growing specialist distributor, for a Customer Services & Sales Support Representative. Working closely with customers, suppliers and colleagues, you'll play a key role in ensuring enquiries, orders and after-sales support are handled efficiently while maintaining the highest levels of customer service.

The Role

Provide professional support to customers via telephone and email.
Process customer orders, enquiries and sales support requests accurately.
Manage returns, replacement orders, refunds and exchanges.
Resolve customer issues quickly, offering practical solutions where required.
Investigate and respond to customer complaints, ensuring a positive outcome.
Liaise with suppliers, logistics partners and internal departments to keep customers updated.
Escalate recurring issues and help identify improvements to service.
Produce clear, professional email correspondence and maintain accurate customer records.

The Ideal Customer Services & Sales Support Representative Will Have

Previous customer service experience within a commercial business environment is essential.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to compose professional emails independently.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Good IT skills and confidence using business systems.
A positive, proactive and customer-focused approach.
Experience in a sales support or order processing environment would be advantageous.
Knowledge of technical products such as networking, point-of-sale, Auto-ID or similar equipment would be beneficial but is not essential. This role would suit someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems and working as part of a close-knit team where everyone contributes to the success of the business.
