As HR Advisor, you will provide comprehensive and hands-on generalist HR service across a diverse workforce. Acting as a trusted partner to managers, you will offer guidance on a broad range of employee relations matters while ensuring best practice, consistency, and compliance with employment legislation.Key responsibilities will include:

Managing a varied employee relations caseload including disciplinary, grievance, performance, capability, absence and probation matters.
Coaching and supporting managers on people management issues, policies, procedures and employment legislation.
Monitoring absence trends and supporting managers with attendance management processes.
Partnering with operational leaders to deliver people initiatives and support organisational change programmes.
Supporting employee wellbeing through effective management of long and short-term sickness cases, including liaison with Occupational Health providers.
Building positive relationships with employee representatives and key stakeholders.
Preparing management reports, HR communications, briefings and supporting people-focused projects.
Maintaining accurate employee records and HR system data.
Contributing to continuous improvement across HR processes, policies and employee experience.

To be successful in this role, you will be a proactive and approachable HR professional with strong generalist experience and a passion for supporting managers and employees.You will ideally have:

Previous experience in an HR Advisor, HR Officer or similar generalist HR position.
Strong knowledge of employment law and employee relations processes.
Experience advising managers within a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
The ability to manage a varied workload and prioritise competing demands effectively.
Experience of using HR systems and producing management information.
A collaborative and practical approach to problem solving.
CIPD qualification or progress towards qualification would be advantageous.
