Description

Collaborate with the wider retail team to align buying strategies with business goals.
Maintain accurate purchasing records and supplier details.
Contribute to product selection and sourcing initiatives to meet market demands.
Support cost-saving initiatives by negotiating with suppliers for the best terms.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all purchasing activities.

Profile

A successful Assistant Buyer should have:

Previous experience in a retail or purchasing environment.
Strong analytical and numerical skills to manage stock and purchasing data effectively.
Excellent communication skills for working with suppliers and internal teams.
A keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in procurement processes.
Proficiency with relevant software tools, such as spreadsheets or inventory management systems.
