Hays are working with a well-established organisation in Telford who are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join their team on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced receptionist or administrator looking for an immediate start within a busy and welcoming office environment.

Your new role
As the first point of contact for visitors and callers, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the front-of-house function. Duties will include:

Meeting and greeting visitors in a professional manner
Managing a busy switchboard and directing calls appropriately
Handling incoming and outgoing post
Maintaining visitor logs and issuing passes
Booking meeting rooms and coordinating refreshments
Providing administrative support to wider teams as required
Ensuring reception and communal areas remain presentable at all times

What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous experience in a receptionist, front-of-house or administrative role. Strong communication skills, a professional telephone manner, and confidence working in a busy environment are essential. You will also be proficient in Microsoft Office and possess excellent organisational skills.
