About the Role

Winner Recruitment is working with a well-established manufacturing business in Barnsley to recruit a Sales Office Administrator to join their friendly and supportive team.

This is a varied office-based role where you'll be responsible for supporting customers, processing orders, preparing quotations, and working closely with both the internal sales team and production to ensure orders are delivered accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

Respond to customer enquiries via telephone and email.
Prepare customer quotations and accurately process sales orders using an in-house ERP system (similar to Sage).
Produce picking lists and delivery paperwork for the production team.
Coordinate with production to ensure customer orders are scheduled and completed efficiently.
Process customer deliveries through the company's freight portal and prepare daily dispatch manifests.
Respond promptly to website enquiries, including requests for technical information and product documentation.
Provide day-to-day administrative support to the external sales team.
Maintain customer and sales spreadsheets, producing monthly reports to identify sales trends and opportunities to reconnect with existing customers.
Deliver a high level of customer service and build strong relationships with customers and distributors.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience in a sales administration, customer service or office administration role.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.
Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Experience using ERP or order processing systems would be advantageous but is not essential.
