Anderson Knight is delighted to be partnering with a valued client in the recruitment of an experienced HR Business Partner based in Glasgow.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded HR professional who enjoys operating across both the strategic and operational aspects of HR. Working closely with senior leaders and managers, you will play a key role in driving people initiatives, supporting organisational objectives, and delivering a proactive, high-quality HR service across the business.

The Role

You will act as a trusted partner to stakeholders, providing expert guidance on all areas of the employee lifecycle while contributing to the development and delivery of the wider people strategy.

This is a varied generalist position where no two days are the same, balancing hands-on operational HR support with longer-term strategic projects and organisational development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with managers and senior leaders to provide pragmatic HR advice and support.
Support the delivery of people strategies aligned to business objectives.
Lead on employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management and performance issues.
Drive talent management, succession planning and employee development initiatives.
Analyse HR data and metrics to identify trends and support decision-making.
Support organisational change programmes and business transformation projects.
Contribute to the development and review of HR policies, procedures and best practice.
Coach and develop managers to build leadership capability and enhance employee engagement.
Support recruitment, onboarding and retention strategies across the business.
Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies.

About You

We are keen to speak with experienced HR professionals who can demonstrate strong business partnering capability and a broad generalist HR background.

Requirements

Previous experience in an HR Business Partner, Senior HR Advisor or similar role.
Strong generalist HR knowledge across the full employee lifecycle.
Proven experience managing complex employee relations cases.
Experience influencing and building relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
A commercial mindset with the ability to align HR initiatives to business outcomes.
Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment legislation.
CIPD qualification or equivalent experience is desirable.
Strong communication, coaching and problem-solving skills.
