Description

Plan and manage stock levels to meet customer demand while minimising overstock and shortages.
Analyse sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely product delivery and resolve any supply chain issues.
Collaborate with the buying team to forecast product needs and plan ranges.
Monitor and adjust pricing strategies to meet sales targets and maximise profitability.
Prepare regular reports on sales performance and stock levels for management review.
Support promotional campaigns by ensuring adequate stock levels and availability.
Maintain effective communication across teams to ensure smooth operations.

Profile

A successful Merchandiser should have:

Experience in stock management and sales analysis within the retail sector.
Strong numerical and analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Excellent communication skills to liaise with suppliers and internal teams effectively.
Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for inventory management and reporting.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a focus on achieving results.
