Salary: £28,031 - £30,378 per annum - SS3

The Role:

This is an exciting time to join the Higher Education Quality Department at University College Birmingham. As part of our on-going developments in Higher Education, we are looking to grow our quality administrative support with professional administrative experience, excellent customer service skills and a high level of organisational ability to provide an efficient and quality service to students, staff and stakeholders

The post-holder will work as part of a team undertaking a diverse role which will include:

Providing secretarial support to selected academic committees including the finalisation of agendas, dissemination of papers, provision of advice and guidance as well as formal minute taking and notes.
Effective coordination and support for Periodic Review, Validation and Approvals, Module Review and similar.
Updating and implementation of Quality procedures and systems including checking of consistency of these and other processes with regulatory requirements.
Administrative responsibilities to External Examiners regarding programme and module requirements for draft assessments and marked student work.
Maintain the Curriculum Management Systems and provide guidance and support to colleagues as necessary.
Assist with effective coordination and support for internal and external quality reviews.

Support effective implementation and operation of quality assurance systems and work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve departmental objectives.
