HR & Administration Supervisor
South Manchester
£40,000 to £45,000

Are you an experienced HR professional looking for a varied role where you can take ownership of the HR and administration function within a strong construction business?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor where you'll be responsible for the day-to-day running of HR and administration processes. Working closely with senior management, you'll oversee recruitment, onboarding, HR systems and office administration, ensuring everything runs efficiently.

The Role

Managing the day-to-day HR and administration function.
Liaising with recruitment agencies to source candidates across the business.
Preparing job descriptions and job adverts for new vacancies.
Coordinating the recruitment process, including arranging interviews and providing candidate feedback.
Preparing offer letters, contracts of employment and new starter documentation.
Managing the onboarding process and ensuring all pre-employment checks are completed.
Maintaining employee records
Monitoring absence, holidays and other HR records.
Supporting managers with HR policies, procedures and employment legislation.
Identifying and implementing improvements to HR and administrative processes.

The Person

Previous experience in a HR Lead, HR Officer, Senior HR Administrator or HR Generalist role.
Construction industry experience is essential.
Strong knowledge of recruitment, onboarding and HR administration.
Experience using both Cascade HR and Sage 50 HR.
Able to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
Organised with excellent communication and administrative skills.
