Do you have a working knowledge of SystmOne and ERS (Choose & Book/e-Referrals)? Are you reliable, organised, and able to hit the ground running in a busy GP practice environment?

Can you work full time hours Monday - Friday ?

We are currently working with a well-established NHS GP Practice in Letchford that is seeking an experienced Medical Secretary to join their team on a temporary basis, with the potential opportunity to secure a permanent position.

Whether you are looking for full-time or part-time hours, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Processing and sending referrals
Insurance and private documents
Managing e-Referrals via ERS (Choose & Book)
Summarising patient notes and medical records
General secretarial and administrative duties
Using appropriate medical terminology accurately
Supporting clinicians and the wider practice team

Essential Requirements

Previous experience working as a Medical Secretary within an NHS GP Practice
Strong working knowledge of SystmOne
Experience using ERS (Electronic Referral Service / Choose & Book)
Excellent typing and administrative skills
Ability to work independently and manage a busy workload
Immediate availability or short notice preferred
