Sales Office Administrator

Annual Salary: Circa £28,000 (depending on experience)
Location: Royston, Hertfordshire
Job Type: Full-time, Office based, Permanent

Reed are delighted to be working with a unique well-established company based in Royston, Hertfordshire who are seeking a Sales Office Administrator to join them. This role offers the opportunity to become an integral part of a friendly and supportive team, handling a variety of customer and administrative tasks. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a keen eye for detail, this could be the perfect role for you.

Day-to-day of the role:

Provide exceptional customer service, supporting both B2B and B2C customers with order enquiries.
Input sales orders and support the Sales team with sales order enquiries (training will be provided).
Meet and greet clients, provide refreshments and manage meeting bookings.
Arrange couriers for important samples and handle postal duties including trips to the local post office.
Manage phone calls by answering, forwarding and screening them.
Sort and distribute post along with other administrative duties as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

At least 2 years' experience in a fast-paced customer service and admin-focused role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.
Experience with Pegasus Opera 3 is beneficial but not essential.
Excellent communication skills with proficient written and spoken English.
Proactive, using initiative and demonstrating common sense.
Helpful 'can do' attitude with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
Positive and confident disposition, with strong time management, multi-tasking and organisational skills.

Benefits:

Competitive salary of circa £28,000, depending on experience.
Office hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm.
25 days holiday plus bank holidays (includes 3 days during Christmas for office shutdown).
