I am working with a client in Leeds, to recruit an experienced Account Manager to join a growing and successful organisation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building long-term client relationships, managing multiple stakeholder expectations, and ensuring a consistently high level of service delivery. The successful candidate will take ownership of a portfolio of client accounts, acting as the key point of contact while identifying opportunities to strengthen relationships, improve performance, and support business growth.
This is a varied role that combines relationship management, commercial awareness, operational oversight and client engagement. Regular travel to client sites will be required.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and develop a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring a high standard of service delivery.
Build strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders, becoming a trusted point of contact.
Monitor account performance against agreed service levels and objectives.
Identify opportunities for account growth and retention.
Conduct regular client meetings and site visits to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns proactively.
Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure client requirements are met efficiently and effectively.
Support the implementation of account development plans and continuous improvement initiatives.
Produce reports, updates and performance information for clients and senior management.
Resolve issues promptly and professionally, ensuring positive outcomes for all parties.
Maintain awareness of market activity and competitor presence within key accounts.

About YouWe are looking for a confident and commercially minded professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and delivering excellent customer service.You will have:

Previous experience in an Account Manager, Client Relationship Manager, Operations Manager or similar role.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
A customer-focused approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Good commercial awareness and an understanding of client service delivery.
Experience producing reports and working with CRM systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook and Teams.
A proactive and self-motivated approach to work.
A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client locations as required.
