Customer Service & Sales Advisor

Location: Dagenham, Essex (relocating to Thurrock after approximately 1 month)

Salary: £13.50 - £15.00 per hour

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

We are currently seeking a motivated and customer-focused Customer Service & Sales Advisor to join a busy and growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who enjoys building strong customer relationships, delivering exceptional service, and supporting sales activities in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Key Responsibilities

Provide a high level of customer service, responding to enquiries via telephone, email, and in person in a professional and timely manner
Build and maintain strong customer relationships to support customer satisfaction and repeat business
Process customer orders accurately, ensuring all information is correct and compliant with company procedures
Maintain accurate customer and sales records
Support the sales function through efficient administration and customer communication
Use Microsoft Excel for data entry, reporting, and record management
Liaise with internal departments to ensure customer requirements are met
Resolve customer queries and issues effectively, maintaining a customer-first approach

Skills & Experience Required

Previous experience in a customer service, sales support, internal sales, or sales advisor role
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including data entry, formulas, and basic reporting
Strong organisational and time management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
Proactive and self-motivated approach
Strong problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Please note: The role will initially be based in Dagenham, Essex, before relocating to Thurrock after approximately one month. Applicants should be able to commute to both locations.
