Electrician - Commercial Installations & Maintenance

Location: South East London & Across London
Salary: Competitive Salary + Enhanced Overtime Rates for evening and weekend shifts
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm 9 Some evening and weekends required
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

We are currently seeking a qualified and customer-focused Electrician to join a well-established and growing electrical contractor based in South East London.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrician looking for long-term stability, varied work, and the chance to be part of a friendly and supportive team. The Role

You will be carrying out a mix of commercial installation and maintenance work across a variety of corporate and commercial buildings throughout London. As you'll be working directly with clients, facilities teams, and building occupants, excellent communication and customer service skills are essential.

The role will involve:

Electrical installation works within commercial buildings.
Planned and reactive electrical maintenance.
Testing and inspection of electrical systems.
Fault finding and carrying out remedial works.
Maintaining and repairing existing electrical installations.
Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with current regulations.
Completing relevant paperwork, reports, and certifications.
Providing a professional and customer-focused service at all times.
Working independently and as part of a team on a range of projects.

What We're Looking For

Essential Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
Experience working within commercial environments.
Confident carrying out testing and inspection work.
Full UK Driving Licence.

Essential Skills & Experience

Strong electrical installation and maintenance experience.
Competent in testing, inspection, and fault finding.
Good understanding of commercial electrical systems.
Professional and customer-focused approach.
Excellent communication skills.
Reliable, organised, and capable of working independently.
Ability to maintain high standards of workmanship and safety.
