Sewing Machinist

Monday - Thursday, 7:00am - 5:00pm (4-day working week)
Immediate Start | Temporary

Due to continued growth and expansion, a globally recognised clothing brand is seeking an experienced Sewing Machinist to join their Head Office production team in Corby.

This is an excellent opportunity to become a key part of a supportive and fast-paced environment, working closely with the Production Manager and wider team to deliver high-quality garments

Key Responsibilities

Interpret garment patterns accurately
Operate Overlocker and Flatbed sewing machines
Ensure all products meet strict quality standards
Work collaboratively to achieve daily production targets
Carry out basic machine maintenance and report any faults or material issues

About You

Proven experience as a Sewing Machinist, Seamstress, or Tailor
Strong working knowledge of Overlocker and Flatbed machines
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work efficiently towards targets within a team environment

Full one-to-one training will be provided to help you quickly become familiar with company processes and procedures.

We are looking for a Sewing Machinist with a solid understanding of garment construction and the operation of industrial sewing machines. You will receive one-to-one support to become fully familiar with our processes and procedures. This role is ideal for someone with previous experience in garment manufacturing, tailoring, or textile production.

You will be joining our clients Corby site, which has been established for over 20 years and holds an excellent reputation within the clothing industry. Working closely with the Production Manager, this role offers day-to-day variety within a respected organisation known for delivering high-quality products.
