Description

Prepare accurate financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely reporting.
Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts for the organisation.
Monitor and maintain financial controls to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and implement necessary adjustments.

Profile

A successful Financial Accountant should have:

A recognised qualification in accounting or finance.
Proven expertise in financial reporting and compliance.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
Experience working within the FMCG industry is advantageous.
