Key Responsibilities and Duties

As an integral part of the clinical team, your daily responsibilities will revolve around delivering exceptional patient outcomes. Your core duties will include, but are not limited to:

Holistic Patient Care: Provide comprehensive, evidence-based, and person-centred nursing care and support to a diverse patient demographic, strictly adhering to the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) professional standards and code of conduct.
Clinical Interventions: Safely and accurately administer prescribed medications, manage complex wound care management plans, and diligently monitor, record, and interpret patients' vital signs.
Care Planning: Develop, review, and implement highly individualised care plans in close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team (MDT), ensuring the physical, emotional, and psychological needs of every patient are met.
Regulatory Compliance: Maintain meticulous, accurate, and confidential electronic health records (EHR) to ensure absolute Care Quality Commission (CQC) compliance and audit readiness.
Leadership & Mentorship: Provide strong clinical leadership on the floor, effectively supervising junior nursing staff, student nurses, and healthcare assistants (HCAs) to maintain a safe, efficient, and harmonious clinical environment.

Requirements & Qualifications

To be successfully considered for this premier nursing job in Norwich, candidates must possess the following professional criteria:

Valid NMC Pin: You must be a fully Registered Adult Nurse (RGN) with a current, valid, and unrestricted registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
Clinical Experience: Proven post-qualification experience working within acute care hospital settings, elderly care facilities, nursing homes, or community nursing environments across the UK is highly desirable.
Advanced Clinical Skills: Strong clinical assessment skills, sharp critical thinking abilities, and the capacity to remain calm and work effectively under high-pressure healthcare environments.
Strict Compliance: Candidates must possess the legal right to work in the UK and be willing to undergo a comprehensive pre-employment screening process, including an Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
Communication Excellence: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage empathetically with patients, their families, relatives, and multidisciplinary healthcare colleagues.
