Advocacy Support Officer | Wales (Hybrid)

The rewards:

£15.27 per hour
DBS covered by the agency
2–3 month temporary role with option to apply for a permanent post if advertised
Hybrid working — Tuesday set office day plus option for additional home working day

Hours:

30 hours per week — Wednesday or Thursday to be a non-working day

The role of Advocacy Support Officer:

Acting as first point of contact for members of the public wishing to make a complaint or raise concerns about NHS and social care services
Providing comprehensive support to Complaints Advocates including arranging meetings, taking minutes, and drafting paperwork
Co-ordinating the work of the advocates and ensuring cases are dealt with in a timely manner
Maintaining manual and electronic complaint and enquiry files in compliance with the Data Protection Act and office policies

The ideal Advocacy Support Officer:

Experience working in a customer service or complaints setting
Knowledge of complaints processes and procedures
Excellent communication skills with the ability to judge the importance of information and respond appropriately
Significant previous administrative experience and proficient in Microsoft Office
Must pass DBS check
