Role: Family Law Secretary/Assistant – Private Law
Location: Bolton
Hours: 9.00 am to 5.00 pm - Monday to Friday (1 Hour Lunch)
Salary: Negotiable depending upon experience.

An exciting opportunity working within a pioneer of legal services, providing friendly, professional advice in the manner a traditional high street law firm would, but blended with a 21st Century approach. Actively searching for a Private Law Secretary/Legal Assistant to work in our very busy Family Department.
Ongoing training, guidance and support from the team is provided.

Job role
Working within a busy office with a friendly team of people, you will be expected to carry out the following duties:

· Providing full secretarial assistance to a solicitor

· Some audio typing but ability to work under instruction an advantage

· Arranging appointments and meetings

· Telephone contact with clients and outside agencies

· Diary management

· Database work

Skills Required

· Experience in private law at secretarial level

· Excellent typing ability

· Excellent IT skills

· Excellent telephone manner

· Excellent organisational skills

· Excellent attention to detail (accuracy essential)

· Good communication skills

· Ability to work well within a team

· Friendly and professional manner
