Accounts Assistant

An established and growing commercial property management and investment firm based in Central London is looking for a capable Accounts Assistant to support its busy finance department. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in property accounts who is looking to deepen their experience in a professional and fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the financial operations of a diverse commercial property portfolio. You'll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial transactions, working closely with property managers, clients, and external partners. Experience with property-specific accounting software—especially MRI Qube—is a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the day-to-day accounting for a portfolio of commercial properties
Process invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations
Maintain accurate records of income and expenditure
Support in the preparation of service charge accounts and client reporting
Liaise with property managers and external stakeholders regarding financial queries
Assist in month-end and year-end reporting
Ad-hoc financial administration and support as required

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years' experience in an accounts role within the real estate or property industry
Strong understanding of property accounting processes
Experience using MRI Qube software is highly desirable
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Good communication skills and a team-oriented approach
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general accounting systems

Salary & Benefits:

£30,000 – £35,000 depending on experience
