Role: Cover Supervisor

Rate of pay: £110 - £130 per day

Location: Dudley

**About the role**

We are currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to join the Secondary Phase of a dynamic and inclusive Academy in Dudley. The school is seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals who can provide short-term classroom cover, with longer-term opportunities available for those able to commit to extended placements.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
• Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students remain engaged and on task
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour

**Role Requirements**

Previous experience supporting children within a secondary school is essential
Degree in education or equivalent qualification
A patient, nurturing, and empathetic approach
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when required
Strong communication skills, both with pupils and staff
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children (an enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one through Connex Education, is required)
