The role of Trainee Administrator

Job title: Trainee Administrator

Working as part of the Pension Administration Department, you will be involved with the following day to day responsibilities:
Producing calculations of member benefits which vary from scheme to scheme, as you gain more experience and skills, the calculations will become more complex
Preparing letters to members, clients and advisors
Updating databases and data files and using verification processes to check that data has been entered accurately

The ideal Trainee Administrator

Keeping records up to date and in order
Communicating with pension scheme members and clients, dealing with general telephone enquiries on a daily basis
Key skills and experience:
You will have excellent attention to detail, particularly when working with numerical information
Educated to A Level or Degree (Or equivalent), including Maths GCSE
Intermediate knowledge of MS Office, including Excel, along with an inquisitive mindset to learn new technology

Confident communication skills and a strong team player A flexible and pro-active mindset are a must for this role as you will continue to learn and develop throughout your career The ability to manage and organise your day to day priorities You will be willing to study for professional exams The company are offering an excellent opportunity to start or develop your career within pensions administration, where you will join a successful and supportive team.
