GI Group are recruiting for FLT Drivers working for a Reusable Packaging company in Warrington (WA1)

Hours of Work

Day Shift - 06:00 - 18:00

3 On 3 Off - Days or Shifts Patterns

Rates of Pay

Days: Basic Pay: £ 14.00 p/hr | Overtime: £ 15.50 p/hr

Work Responsibilities

* Carry out daily maintenance checks on forklifts and batteries. Any damage or required maintenance must be reported immediately to the manager.

* Complete pre-start inspection sheets for each forklift at the beginning of every shift.

* Always operate forklifts safely and responsibly, minimising the risk of damage and accidents.

* Follow all operational rules and regulations related to forklift use (e.g., correct use of horns, safe handling procedures when using forks, etc.).

* Maintain cleanliness in the cold storage area, ensuring all spaces are free from debris and waste bins are regularly emptied.

* Maintain accurate records of crate, tray, and pallet movements.

* Ensure pallets, trays, and crates are stacked safely and securely.

* Maintain effective communication with all relevant site team members.

* Provide accurate and timely weight information to all relevant personnel as required.

* Ensure correct loading of crates and trays for each depot and customer, including compliance with pallet height and weight requirements.

Ensure that all site rules including Health & Safety are adhered to by all Forklift drivers and visiting Dales or other lorry drivers
