As an Interim Procurement Officer in Liverpool's public sector, you'll play a vital role in managing procurement processes to ensure the efficient delivery of goods and services. Client Details

This role is based within the public sector in the North West.

Description

Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including tendering and contract award.
Ensure compliance with public sector procurement regulations and policies.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify procurement needs and develop strategies.
Evaluate supplier proposals and negotiate terms to achieve value for money.
Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
Monitor supplier performance and address any issues that arise.
Provide advice and support on procurement best practices to colleagues.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement processes.

Profile

A successful Interim Procurement Officer should have:

Experience in procurement, ideally within the public sector.
Strong knowledge of procurement regulations and compliance requirements.
Proven ability to manage multiple procurement projects efficiently.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.

Job Offer

This is an interim 3 month assignment for a leading public sector organisation based in the North West for an interim Procurement Officer, offering up to £300 p/day (Inside IR35).
