Are you an experienced Administrator with strong scheduling and diary management skills? Do you enjoy working in a busy environment where organisation, attention to detail and customer service are key?

We're partnering with a successful and growing business that delivers specialist services across the UK. Due to continued growth, they're looking for a proactive Service Administrator to join their friendly and supportive team in Basildon.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys coordinating appointments, booking engineers, liaising with customers and ensuring administrative processes run efficiently. You'll be a vital part of the team, helping to schedule workloads, maintain records and provide day-to-day support to field-based engineers.

Working closely with customers, engineers and internal departments, you'll ensure appointments are arranged efficiently, paperwork is completed accurately and service delivery runs smoothly.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Service Administrator, your responsibilities will include:

Scheduling and booking engineer appointments across the UK
Managing engineer diaries and allocating jobs efficiently
Liaising with customers to arrange, confirm and update appointments
Acting as the main point of contact for engineers whilst they are on site
Processing service requests and allocating work accordingly
Updating internal systems with job progress and completion information
Maintaining accurate records, documentation and customer information
Preparing and managing service-related paperwork and compliance documents
Supporting the administration of planned and reactive maintenance works
Building positive relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues
Assisting with general office administration and operational support tasks

What We're Looking For

Previous experience in an administration, scheduling or service coordination role
Experience booking engineers, tradespeople or field-based staff would be highly advantageous
Strong organisational and time management skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel
High attention to detail and accuracy
A proactive and positive approach to work
Experience using scheduling, CRM or service management systems would be beneficial
