Sales & Marketing Manager

Melksham, Wiltshire (Hybrid)
£45,000 - £55,000 (negotiable)

Our client is a successful and growing consumer products business supplying retailers across the UK, USA and international markets. They are seeking a commercially focused Sales & Marketing Manager to drive profitable growth across ecommerce, digital sales and commercial marketing activity. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands how marketing drives sales. Working closely with Sales, Product, Design and Ecommerce teams, you will be responsible for customer acquisition, lead conversion, ecommerce performance and commercially focused marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Drive profitable growth across B2B ecommerce, marketplaces and digital sales channels.
Own lead generation, qualification and conversion activity across websites, campaigns and trade events.
Develop strategies to acquire new customers, reactivate dormant accounts and grow existing customer spend.
Manage CRM, email marketing and customer communications to improve engagement and revenue.
Oversee the performance of ecommerce and marketplace platforms, including Faire UK and Faire US.
Plan and deliver product launches, campaigns and promotional activity across digital channels.
Produce sales materials, brochures and launch collateral to support commercial objectives.
Support trade shows and exhibitions, ensuring effective lead follow-up and ROI measurement.
Lead and develop a Sales Assistant and Content Creator.
Use data, AI and automation tools to improve performance, efficiency and decision making.

About You

You are a commercially minded sales and marketing professional who is motivated by growth, customer acquisition and measurable results. You understand how marketing supports sales performance and enjoy using data and insight to drive business success.

Essential Skills & Experience

Demonstrable success delivering sales growth and commercial results.
Experience of ecommerce, marketplaces, CRM and digital sales channels.
Strong understanding of customer acquisition, lead generation and retention.
Previous team management experience.
Excellent commercial awareness and ability to analyse performance data.
Strong organisational and project management skills.
Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Ecommerce and Marketing teams.
Confident using CRM, ecommerce and AI-enabled tools.

Desirable

Experience within consumer products, giftware, publishing, lifestyle or retail.
A background combining sales and marketing responsibilities.
Experience with platforms such as Faire, Amazon or Shopify.
Experience supporting trade shows or field sales teams.
