Sales Support Administrator (German Speaking)

Location: Hybrid/Office-Based

About the Company

Our client is a well-established and growing business within the food industry, supplying high-quality products to customers across Europe. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a German-speaking Sales Support Administrator to join their dynamic and friendly team.

The Role

The Sales Support Administrator will play a key role in supporting the sales function, ensuring customers receive excellent service and that orders are processed efficiently. The successful candidate will act as a key point of contact for German-speaking customers while providing administrative support to the wider sales team.

Key Responsibilities

Providing administrative support to the sales team.
Managing customer enquiries via telephone and email in both German and English.
Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Coordinating with internal departments including logistics, supply chain and customer service.
Maintaining customer records and updating CRM systems.
Producing sales reports and general administrative documentation.
Monitoring order progress and ensuring customers are kept informed of delivery schedules.
Resolving any order-related queries and escalating issues where necessary.
Supporting account managers with customer communications and account administration.

Skills & Experience Required

Fluent in both German and English (written and spoken).
Previous experience within a sales support, customer service, sales administration or order processing role.
Strong administrative and organisational skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Experience using ERP or CRM systems would be advantageous.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
