Nursery Assistant

Cheltenham

Academics is currently recruiting caring and reliable Nursery Assistants to support a range of nursery settings across Cheltenham on a flexible supply basis.

This Nursery Assistant opportunity is perfect for individuals who enjoy working with young children and are looking for flexible work that fits around their lifestyle in Cheltenham. Whether you are an experienced Nursery Assistant or looking to build further childcare experience, this role offers a rewarding and supportive environment.

Your Role:

Support daily nursery routines and activities
Encourage children through play-based learning
Help create a safe, nurturing, and welcoming environment
Assist with children's early years development and well-being

What We're Looking For:

A genuine passion for working with children
Childcare qualification (Level 2 or above desirable but not essential)
Previous nursery or childcare experience preferred
Positive, reliable, and enthusiastic attitude
Willingness to complete an Enhanced DBS check
