Our client is a well-established award-winning regional automotive service retailer with a strong reputation for delivering reliable, high-quality support to its customers. With over twenty branches across the Home Counties, they are now seeking an experienced Payroll and Accounts Administrator to join a small finance team at their Head Office in Andover, Hampshire.

The role will involve processing 4- weekly, and monthly payrolls, checking and entering purchase ledger transactions, answering incoming office calls, taking customer payments over the phone, and assisting with other duties across the team as required.

This is a varied part-time position, so the successful candidate will need to be flexible, accurate, and comfortable helping wherever needed.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 08:30 to 14:00, totalling 5.5 hours per day and 27.5 per week.

Essential Skills

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

Minimum of 2 years’ payroll experience.
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Confident asking questions and investigating anything that does not look right.
Good communication skills, including confidence speaking to customers and colleagues by phone.
Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
Organised and able to manage tasks within deadlines.
Flexible approach and willingness to help with other duties within the team when required.
