Description

Support the Marketing Manager/Senior Marketing Manager in the development and delivery of strategic marketing activities, ensuring campaigns align with wider organisational objectives.
Lead on key marketing projects, managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery within agreed timescales and budgets.
Manage the development and production of marketing materials across multiple channels, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and that content is tailored to target audiences and markets.
Produce high-quality marketing collateral, including copywriting, content management, design briefing, and the procurement and management of external suppliers and agencies.
Plan, implement, and optimise digital marketing campaigns, including search engine optimisation (SEO), pay-per-click (PPC), display advertising, and other digital acquisition channels.
Monitor, analyse, and report on marketing performance, presenting regular updates and campaign insights to senior stakeholders and making recommendations based on results.
Support the effective use of project management, workflow, and approval processes to ensure consistency, efficiency, and quality across marketing activity.
Collaborate with colleagues across multiple departments, attending project meetings and sharing best practice to maximise resources and expertise.
Manage elements of the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective delivery, tracking expenditure, and demonstrating return on investment through performance reporting.
Develop and maintain a suite of marketing resources and toolkits, including advertising templates, imagery, video assets, key messaging, and campaign materials for internal and external stakeholders.
Support the ongoing management and optimisation of website content through the content management system (CMS), ensuring content remains accurate, engaging, and user-focused.
Monitor website performance and user engagement, making recommendations to improve digital effectiveness and customer journeys.
Plan and coordinate advertising activity across relevant channels, ensuring campaigns comply with brand guidelines and are evaluated against agreed objectives.
Support customer conversion and engagement activity through targeted marketing campaigns, data analysis, market research, and customer relationship management (CRM) initiatives.
Act as a source of marketing expertise within the organisation, supporting knowledge sharing, staff development, and the creation of guidance and training materials where required.
Build and maintain strong relationships across the organisation to increase awareness of marketing services and encourage collaborative working.

Profile

A successful Marketing Officer should have:

Experience in creating and managing international marketing campaigns.
Strong communication and content creation skills.
Knowledge of global audience engagement strategies.
Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
Analytical skills to assess campaign performance and make data-driven decisions.
Organisational skills to manage multiple projects effectively.
Ability to commute to Manchester.

Job Offer

Salary ranging from £35,000+ dependent on the level of experience.
