Trainee Office Administrator Job in Ferndown

Dovetail Recruitment are proud to be working with a local business that is looking for a Trainee Office Administrator to join their team in Ferndown. We have personally met with this client, and what is clear is how passionate they are about their business and the local area. They are looking to welcome someone into their small but friendly team to support the next stage of the company's long-term growth.

We are looking for a Trainee Office Administrator to join the business and become an integral part of the team. Full in-house coaching and training is provided, ensuring you have all the tools and support needed to succeed.

Duties and Responsibilities

Liaising with clients to obtain advertising copy, artwork and approvals.
Proofread copy and check for errors.
Keeping the CRM system, project boards and sales lists up to date.
Checking publications before print to ensure adverts are correct and accounted for.
Maintaining postal invoice lists and taking card payments.
Responding to client queries and building positive customer relationships.
Preparing and distributing sales literature with the design team.
Supporting sales of programmes and guides.
Sourcing competition prizes.

This role has the potential to evolve into a sales position should the candidate want to pursue that career trajectory.

Skills and Experience Required

A confident communicator who enjoys building relationships
Excellent attention to detail, able to spot errors
Good grammar skills
Self-motivated and organised

Salary and details:

Salary of £25,000
Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 9.00am - 4.30pm, with a 4.00pm finish on Fridays
Pension contributions
Free parking
20 days holiday + bank holidays
