Temporary Part-Time Sales Administrator

Location: BD18 - Shipley - Free onsite parking

Hourly rate: £13.00- £13.50 per hour
Hours: Wednesday, Thursday & Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm (1-hour lunch break)
Contract: Temporary- with potential to go permanent

About the Role

We are currently seeking an organised and customer-focused Sales Administrator to join our busy manufacturing business on a temporary, part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and delivering exceptional customer service.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the sales and operations teams, ensuring customer orders are processed efficiently and queries are resolved promptly.

There is potential for this role to develop into a permanent position with expanded hours for the right individual.

Key Responsibilities

Process incoming sales orders accurately
Communicate manufacturing requirements, updates, and changes clearly and promptly to the production facility.
Organise and manage customer returns in line with company policies and procedures.
Produce and distribute reporting, including back order reports, to Senior Management and Regional Account Managers.
Arrange courier shipments for customers across the UK and worldwide.
Generate, dispatch, and post daily invoices.
Act as the first point of contact for inbound customer enquiries.
Handle incoming telephone calls, resolving customer queries at the first point of contact wherever possible.
Respond to customer emails accurately and within agreed service levels.
Produce pick lists in preparation for product dispatch.
Maintain accurate customer and order records within company systems.
Support the wider team with general administrative duties as required.

Skills & Experience

Previous experience within a Sales Administration or Senior Administrative role.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
Confident communicator with a professional telephone manner.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word.
SAP experience is a bonus but not essential
